Rod, my Bichon Frise burst his cruciate ligament a few months ago, because he is a small dog the vet said to hold off on an operation and maybe get some physical therapy on him first to see if this helps. I was given Felicity’s name and she has been working on Rod for the past two months, a full hour massage he gets once a week / 2 weeks. I cannot believe the difference in him, no lifting his leg, walks on all fours and is starting to run on all fours. Highly recommend her to all pet lovers, friendly and gentle, Rod loves her. I would have been lost without her

Five stars from us. Dolly is a 13 year old shih tzu who came to us years ago as a rescue dog. She slipped a disc in her back which was an upsetting and a worrying time. Invasive surgical treatment was not the best option for her as she also has some cognitive dysfunction. A plan was made with my vets to try conservative management and medication. Canine massage was complimentary to the treatment plan and we were thrilled with the results. Dolly felt very safe with Felicity and gladly accepted treatment. After weekly sessions we saw significant improvements with Dolly’s mobility and coordination. Her balance began to improve along with her spatial awareness of her hind legs. Felicity advised some home care with heat and ice also to promote healing. We are very appreciative to Felicity for helping Dolly on the road to recovery and hold her in very high regards.

Poppy has Cushings and arthritis so we booked her in for a massage with Felicity to see if it might make her more comfortable. She hadn’t been able to go as far as she used to on walks but after one session she was able to go further on walks and her mobility around the house was a lot better!

I cannot recommend Felicity Wurlod highly enough. My dog Trudi and I compete and train regularly in the active sport of dog agility and she recently suffered a strain. Trudi is a rescue dog that is particularly
nervous of strangers but Felicity made her feel at ease straight away and had Trudi's best interest as top priority throughout the entire course of treatments. It was particularly helpful to have the locations and nature of Trudi's injury explained in detail so that I could better understand the recovery process. On top of this she examined Trudi's environment and highlighted any daily activities that could cause the injuries to worsen. Things that I never would have considered myself! Trudi will continue to get regular massages in order to maintain her muscular health throughout her agility career. We won't hesitate to call Felicity in the future!

I thought massage was a good idea and possible help for Oscar, having recovered fully from his 1st cruciate, It was the 2nd cruciate on his other leg that has caused him a great deal of pain. We did try another form of rehab for a couple of months and found massage to have a bigger impact after only three sessions. As I am someone who works with dogs and have tried a few different methods of dog handling, I paid close attention to Oscar over the sessions. The next day his foot was a lot lower to the ground and was putting weight on it, and was more relaxed. I can say over the last three weeks he has reduced tension that he would normally have in the leg. There is still a road to travel and he may never be 100% but I will continue with Felicity in the future as this method suited Oscar giving the best results to date.

Flash was definitely moving better when I rode yesterday evening. He felt smoother and like his movement was more integrated. His neck felt very eased out too. My sense is that he really benefited from the
treatment and I think regular treatments will help him. So thank you so much again :)

Banjo has been competing at agility, but recently he had been slowing down and just not been one hundred percent. Ever since Felicity from Wurlod Animal Therapies has been working on him he has improved so much. With the aid of Felicity I believe he can reach his full potential in agility.

Brogan has an old injury from breaking his wrist which then became arthritic. He had been competing at agility but more recently he has been happy going for jogs in the park. After a session of massage
and photonic therapy his owner said “Brogan is in great form this morning. We went jogging, he seems to be moving very freely and relaxed. Seems light on his feet if that makes sense.”

Felicity was very professional in her approach and handling of the horse. After the treatments Sydney's body was a lot more relaxed. The back and legs improved, less filling. His stride was more fluid. The
horse seemed to enjoy the sessions, he was happy and relaxed. My horse was greatly improved by the therapy.

Felicity is a super patient and kind horsewoman. Charlie was quite unsettled at the start but after the third session he was really chilled out and was more zen-like to certain parts of the body. Especially the injured area, he loved it. His gait was improved, he was moving more freely and was more relaxed after the treatment.

‘Lets Get Started’ was lame so it was worth trying the therapy to get him back racing. He responded really well to the treatment with signs of muscle tension release. Afterwards he was also moving much better, more freely and recovered faster than usual. I would highly recommend Felicity from Wurlod Animal Therapies.

Buddy had issues with his back and hips and more recently his shoulder after taking a jump wrong in agility. He was on medication for arthritis and was told it was just old age. After a couple of sessions with Felicity he was like a new man!

We were interested in massage as another intervention that could benefit the horses. They showed lots of signs of tension release and overall seemed very relaxed and happy after the massages, which are important traits for therapeutic horses.
